Website delivery
This website uses Showit, Inc., USA, to host and deliver its pages, images, uploaded fonts and videos. It also loads jQuery through Google Hosted Libraries and a stylesheet through Cloudflare's cdnjs service. Your browser connects to these providers and transmits your IP address and technical request information so that the website can be displayed and operated.
We process this information to provide a reliable website, maintain its functionality and protect it against technical faults and misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating a functional and secure website.
Email enquiries
You can contact us at [email protected]. Clicking an email link opens your configured email application. You choose whether to send the message from there; the website does not submit it through a contact form.
We use your email address, the contact details you provide and the contents of your message to answer your enquiry, discuss your project and handle the resulting correspondence. Where you request a quotation or other steps before entering a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other correspondence, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining business communication.
Our email hosting provider is Hoststar – Multimedia Networks AG, Switzerland. We use Spark, provided by Spark Mail Limited, Ireland, on Mac and iPhone, and occasionally Microsoft Outlook on Mac, to read, organise and answer email. Depending on the applications and functions used, email-related information may also be processed through their cloud services.
Contacting us is voluntary. We need a reply address and enough information to deal with your request. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry.
Storage periods
We retain correspondence while handling your enquiry and any necessary follow-up. If an enquiry is closed without an order, we delete the correspondence from our active mailboxes and email applications no later than six months after closure, unless particular information must be kept to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Information relating to a client project, accounting records or a legal matter is retained for the applicable statutory or claims-related period. Statutory retention is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR; retention necessary for legal claims is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
[BEFORE PUBLICATION: Implement the six-month deletion routine for closed enquiries without an order and review existing retained correspondence. Confirm provider periods for logs, deleted mail and backup copies.]
International processing
Showit states that its services are hosted in the United States. Spark also identifies US-based cloud infrastructure for its server-supported functions. Where Hoststar processes personal data in Switzerland, the European Commission's adequacy decision applies.
[TO CONFIRM: Applicable provider agreements, transfer safeguards and how to obtain them; Hoststar mailbox, backup and support locations; enabled Spark server-supported functions and Outlook cloud configuration. Complete the disclosure for occasional ChatGPT email searches after checking the account, applicable terms and data-processing settings.]
Browser storage and external links
Technical connections to hosting and resource providers occur when the website loads, even if no cookies are stored in your browser. The services used for website delivery are described above.
Links to other websites, including our social profiles, take you to services governed by their own privacy information.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Contact [email protected].
You may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, [email protected], or another competent supervisory authority.
